Community Guidelines

At Day of Us, we're committed to creating a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all users. These guidelines outline the behaviors and content that are acceptable within our community.

Your adherence to these guidelines helps us nurture a vibrant, safe community.

Please note that breaches of these guidelines may result in warnings, account restrictions, or, in severe cases, involvement of law enforcement. Report any violations or appeals here. We're also committed to continual improvement by analyzing user interactions to refine our safety measures.

Profile Guidelines

  • Age: You must be 18 or older to join (21 in the UAE). Misrepresenting your age is not allowed, and we may ask for ID verification.
  • Profile Photo: Upload a clear, unfiltered photo of yourself. Avoid excessive filters, symbols, text, or memes.
  • Name: Legal name only. We may ask for ID verification.
  • Email: Confirm your email address.
  • Phone: Provide your phone number.

Conduct & Content Guidelines

  • Nudity and Sexual Activity:

    No explicit, vulgar, or sexual content is permitted. This includes selling, advertising, or soliciting sexual content or services.

    Example: A participant shows explicit images at a dinner, makes inappropriate comments, and tries to sell adult services. This behavior disrupts the event's respectful atmosphere.

  • Bullying & Abuse:

    Harassment, bullying, or targeting individuals with insults, intimidation, or emotional abuse is strictly prohibited.

    Example: One participant insults and belittles another based on their appearance, using intimidation and emotional manipulation. This behavior disturbs the positive environment of the event.

  • Child Exploitation:

    Any content that sexualizes or endangers children, including sharing abusive material, is strictly banned.

    Example: A participant discusses involvement in communities that exploit minors. This alarming behavior is a severe breach of our policy.

  • Controlled Substances:

    The sale or distribution of illegal drugs or misuse of legal substances is not allowed.

    Example: Discussing or offering illegal drugs and paraphernalia at an event is prohibited.

  • Dangerous Organizations:

    Associations with violent, extremist, or terrorist groups are banned.

    Example: A participant promotes a radical group known for violence, creating discomfort and safety concerns.

  • Hate Speech:

    We value diversity. Hate speech or dehumanization of marginalized groups based on race, gender, orientation, disability, or religion is not allowed.

    Example: A participant makes derogatory comments about others' race or gender, promoting a hostile environment.

  • Impersonation:

    Creating fake profiles or impersonating others is prohibited. Each person may have only one account.

    Example: Using fake profiles to mislead others or disrupt interactions is a clear violation.

  • Misinformation:

    Spreading false information or conspiracy theories is banned.

    Example: Sharing false claims about the event venue creates unnecessary fear and disruption.

  • Scams & Fraud:

    Engaging in deceptive financial activities is prohibited.

    Example: Offering fake investment opportunities to other attendees constitutes fraud.

  • Spam:

    Bulk unwanted content, misleading links, or disruptive profiles are prohibited.

    Example: Creating multiple profiles to spam others with misleading offers is disruptive.

  • Suicide & Self-Harm:

    Content that glorifies self-harm or eating disorders is banned. Sharing personal mental health experiences is allowed if done sensitively.

    Example: Promoting self-harm as a coping mechanism crosses the line from sharing personal experiences.

  • Violent Content:

    Sharing graphic content involving injury or weapons is prohibited.

    Example: Showing graphic hunting photos or injury scenes is inappropriate and uncomfortable.

Attendance

  • No Shows: Attend your scheduled events or cancel within the allotted time. No-shows for more than two events will result in a suspension or permanent ban.
  • Bringing a +1 is Not Permitted: Your reservation is for you and you only. Bringing a +1 will result in a suspension or permanent ban.
  • Prohibition of Double Bookings: Users are not allowed to book tables at the same restaurant using multiple services for the purpose of taking advantage of promotions.

Inactive Accounts

Accounts inactive for two years will be deleted.

Reporting

Your safety is our priority. Report violations, not just disagreements. We use both human moderators and automated systems to uphold community standards. Report any violations to here.

Enforcement

Violations may lead to content removal, warnings, suspensions or bans. Day of Us does not guarantee appeals on all account removals and reserves the right to suspend or remove accounts without notice for any reason.
